Bengaluru residents will experience scheduled power cuts on November 14 and 15 due to maintenance work by BESCOM.
Bengaluru will face power cuts on November 14 and 15 as BESCOM carries out essential maintenance to improve service.
Additionally, BESCOM will carry out high-tension (HT) line reconductoring, which involves replacing or repairing the conductors on high-voltage power lines.
Another important task includes the servicing of Ring Main Units (RMUs), which are integral to managing electricity distribution and improving fault isolation and restoration during power failures. In addition to this, BESCOM will address repairs and replacements of HT connections, which are crucial to maintaining consistent and reliable electricity supply in several localities.
As part of the maintenance, tree trimming will also take place in certain areas, as overgrown branches can pose a risk to power lines, especially during adverse weather conditions.
Residents are advised to plan accordingly and stay informed about the affected areas.
