Day 5 of Amaran’s box office run shows decent performance as the Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi starrer maintains its momentum even after a slight decline in audience turnout on Monday.

Since its premiere, “Amaran” has been a massive success story at the box office, smashing numerous records along the way. The film had a strong start, raking in approximately ₹ 83.10 crore within the initial four days of its release. However, as it reached its fifth day, Monday’s numbers reflected a considerable and somewhat anticipated downturn, with earnings totaling only Rs 10.25 crore across all language markets in India. Headlined by Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, the movie has now amassed an impressive domestic box office collection of about Rs 93 crore by the end of day 5.

The Tamil iteration has amassed a total of Rs 68.65 crore thus far, with the Kannada adaptation generating Rs 22 lakhs. The Hindi rendition brought in Rs 19 lakhs, while the Telugu version raked in Rs 14 crore and the Malayalam version earned Rs 4 lakhs. Impressively, the film recorded a remarkable collection of Rs 21 crore on its initial Saturday, marking a 9.66% increase. Subsequently, on the following day, Amaran garnered Rs 19.15 crore, albeit experiencing a slight decrease.

The movie Amaran, although performing well in cinemas, has unfortunately fallen victim to online leakage. ABP Live reported that the film’s release was marred by piracy, with high-definition unauthorized copies surfacing on various infamous websites mere days after its theatrical debut. Sources claim that the leaked versions are now circulating on platforms like MovieRulz, Tamilrockers, 1337x, and several Telegram channels.

Rajkumar Periasamy directs “Amaran”, a film produced by Raaj Kamal Films and Sony Pictures Films India, starring Bhuvan Arora and Rahul Bose. This patriotic drama is inspired by the real-life account of Major Mukund Varadarajan.
