Madalsa Sharma gained fame through her portrayal in the renowned television series Anupamaa. She was part of the show from its inception in 2020 but chose to depart earlier this year. Having completed her obligations on the program, Madalsa is currently engrossed in various new ventures, among which is her recent photoshoot. She recently posted a sneak peek from the photoshoot, showcasing a mesmerizing backdrop complemented by her exquisite attire.
Amid the scenic backdrop of Istanbul, Madalsa elegantly flaunted a sleeveless grey-toned gown with a gathered end and a deep V-neck design. The striking element of the shoot was its setting atop a tall building overlooking a tranquil waterbody. Madalsa, the actress, recently marked Diwali with her family. She is the daughter of renowned actress Sheela Sharma and is married to Mimoh Chakraborty, the son of actor Mithun Chakraborty. Expressing the significance of the festival to her, she shared with ETimes, “Diwali holds a special place as it brings both our families together. The atmosphere is filled with positivity during our Lakshmi pooja ceremony. Our home is adorned with diyas and phooljhadis, creating a beautiful ambiance. We opt for an eco-friendly celebration by avoiding fireworks to protect the environment and not distress stray animals. I believe in spreading the message of celebrating Diwali in a peaceful and sustainable manner.
Madalsa, recognized for portraying Kavya in Anupamaa, made the choice to depart from her professional role this past September. Explaining her rationale, the actress conveyed to the portal, “The essence and vigor in my character had diminished. If Kavya had remained the grey character she was initially, I would have stayed on. Despite numerous attempts by the creative team to revamp my character in recent months, none proved successful. Therefore, (producer) Rajan Shahi sir and I reached a mutual agreement that it was time for me to seek new opportunities.
Before starring in the television series, Madalsa Sharma had appeared in multiple Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi movies. Her first role was in the Telugu film “Fitting Master” in 2009. Subsequently, she featured in productions such as “Samrat & Co” and “Kartoot.
