Boney Kapoor celebrated his 69th birthday in the company of family members and friends. While Arjun Kapoor initially shared a glimpse of the intimate gathering, Orhan Awatramani aka Orry has added some more unseen photos from the bash. The party saw attendees including Boney’s children—Anshula, Janhvi, Arjun and Khushi Kapoor. Vedang Raina, who is rumoured to be dating Khushi, also joined the celebrations.
The photo series opened with a candid shot of Boney Kapoor posing alongside Orry. Along with the image, Orry penned a heartfelt message: “Happy birthday My Boney Kapoor. The man who lit my match, sparked my spark and accidentally caused a bon (ey) fire. It has now been 3 years since you first jumped started my career as a public personality and I thank you every day since. Wishing you all the love and joy the world has to offer and thank you for sharing your beautiful family and home with me all the time.”
Orry continued the series by sharing photos with other guests at the celebration, including Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina, Shanaya Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor and Tanisha R. Santoshi. He also created a collage featuring candid snapshots from past moments with Boney Kapoor.
Orry also posted a few videos capturing the heartwarming moments as Boney Kapoor cut his birthday cake. The clip shows Boney feeding cake to Anshula and Arjun, who then lovingly return the gesture. Janhvi steps forward to feed her father as well, giving him a warm kiss. Later, he shares a sweet moment with his youngest daughter, Khushi, as he offers her a piece of cake.
Orry, who shares a close bond with both Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, has also developed a special connection with Boney Kapoor. During his recent appearance on Koffee with Karan Season 8, Orry credited Boney for helping him gain recognition in the industry. He said, “If you want to blame someone, blame Boney Kapoor. Blame him. Because the first time I got the limelight, it was his fault. I was attending his daughter’s birthday, and when I entered the gate, the media was like, click, click, click… And Boney uncle, being the gentleman that he is, had come down to receive me.”
Boney Kapoor last worked as a producer in the film Maidaan, which featured Ajay Devgn in the lead role.
