Maruti Suzuki Dzire’s upcoming launch in India on November 11 will introduce the fourth-generation model, showcasing a host of extensive exterior and interior modifications, enhanced safety features, and a fresh engine variant.
The 2024 Dzire has been revamped with numerous pioneering features exclusive to its segment. Sporting a striking new grille at the front, the vehicle is equipped with LED Crystal Vision headlamps featuring LED DRLs, along with LED rear combination lamps. Rolling on brand-new 15-inch alloy wheels, it also showcases novel enhancements like a shark fin antenna and a boot lid spoiler.
The interior of the 2024 Dzire draws inspiration from the design of the 2024 Swift. Nonetheless, the sedan showcases a fresh dual-tone aesthetic for the dashboard accented with a sleek wooden finish. Noteworthy additions include an upgraded 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system offering wireless connectivity for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionalities, Arkamys surround sound technology, a 360-degree camera, automatic air conditioning, cruise control, an electric sunroof, rear AC vents, rear armrest, and Suzuki Connect integration.
Maruti states that the latest Dzire model is utilizing the advanced fifth-generation Heartect platform with 45% high tensile steel incorporated into its structure. Safety is prioritized with standard features such as six airbags, electronic stability program, hill hold assist, ABS with EBD, brake assist, three-point seatbelts for all seats, and Isofix mounts. Furthermore, the inclusion of a rear defogger is a standard offering.
The latest Dzire model is equipped with the identical engine found in the new Swift, namely the Z12E 1.2-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 81.58PS power and 111.7Nm torque. This engine is available with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
When it comes to discussing a Maruti vehicle, one cannot overlook the aspect of its fuel efficiency. The latest Dzire model certainly lives up to expectations in this regard, boasting an impressive mileage of up to 24.79kmpl for manual transmission and 25.71kmpl for automated manual transmission.
The upcoming launch of the 2024 Dzire in India is scheduled for November 11, with bookings now being accepted for a nominal fee of Rs 11,000.
Anticipated to hit the market in 2024, the upcoming Dzire model is projected to come with a price range of approximately Rs 6.99 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom), offering a slight increase in comparison to the outgoing model’s price bracket of Rs 6.56 lakh to Rs 9.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
