Stay tuned for the latest updates on the SSC CGL Result 2024! The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is all set to announce the outcomes of the Tier 1 exam for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) on its official portal. Aspirants who sat for the exam can verify their results on the authorized website ssc.gov.in. Successful candidates, whose roll numbers will be listed, will proceed to the Tier 2 examination. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam took place from September 9 to 26 at various test centers nationwide. Following the release of the provisional answer keys on October 4, candidates had the opportunity to raise objections or provide representations until October 8.

Next in line is the imminent announcement of the SSC CGL tier 1 result for the year 2024 by the commission.

Subject matters in the tier 1 examination included multiple-choice questions of an objective nature focusing on the subsequent themes:

  • Reasoning and General Intelligence
  • General Awareness
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • English Comprehension.

In every segment, there were 25 questions with a maximum score of 50 points per section.

In the CGL tier 1 examination, candidates from the unreserved category are required to achieve a minimum of 30 percent marks to qualify.

OBC and EWS candidates are required to achieve a minimum of 25 percent to pass, while all other categories need to score at least 20 percent in the tier 1 exam.

A recruitment examination is currently underway for a total of 17,727 positions in group B and group C across ministries, departments, and organizations under the central government, as well as in various statutory bodies, tribunals, and similar entities.
